The reason for having a dresscode is to help our students to move without any constraints in class, and also to enable the teacher to see and correct the students physical condition and movement better.
No jewelry is allowed in class ever, because you may injure yourself or others.
All balletshoes must be leather or canvas. The elastic around the ankle should be sewn in the form of an X.
No pink ballet bedroom slippers or any lookalikes
Personal hygiene is very much appreciated and obligatory!!
Acrobatics
Gymshoes, T-Shirts, Leotards and Tights are allowed. No sneakers ! For the ladies hair must be pulled back and tied in a knot.
Breakdance
Sneakers, T-Shirts, Leotards and Tights are allowed. No Gymshoes or sneakers that are worn on the street!
Contemporary
Barefooted, socks, balletshoes or special contemporary shoes , T-Shirts, Leotards and Tights are allowed. No Gymshoes or Sneakers! For the ladies hair must be pulled back and tied in a knot.
Jazz
Barefooted, socks, jazzshoes, jazzboots and caractere shoes, T-Shirts, Leotards and Tights are allowed. No Gymshoes or Sneakers!
Classical Ballet and Pointe
Solid colored leotards and tights are ok. Ballet skirts are acceptable. For the ladies hair must be pulled back and tied in a knot. Leg-warmers and cover-ups are only allowed after the class is over. Students must wear balletshoes during Classical ballet and Pointeshoes during Pointe.
Salsa
Leather patented shoes, jazzshoes, jazzboots and caractere shoes, T-Shirts, Skirts are allowed. No Gymshoes or Sneakers!
Streetdance
Sneakers, T-Shirts, Leotards and Tights are allowed. No Gymshoes or sneakers that are worn on the street!
Tapdance
Tapshoes, Leather patented shoes for beginners, T-Shirts, Leotards and Tights are allowed. No Gymshoes or sneakers that are worn on the street!
Tango
Tangoshoes, Leather patented shoes with high heel, T-Shirts, Leotards, Skirts and Tights are allowed. No Gymshoes or sneakers that are worn on the street!
